The Language of You
While
I find a lot of fields fascinating, it's the artistic ones that particularly
resonate with me.
Actors.
When they embody another character, they have to dig deep within themselves in
order to emote. We fall for all the movie magic, truly believing they actually
are the part they are playing. Hating the face of an actor who played a
ruthless villain is inevitable for most of us.
Painters
unleash the creativity party thats going on within on canvas, singers allow
their voices to speak their soul and a pianist finds freedom on a zebra
coloured board.
What
I'm doing right now, writing, is another example. It's yet another outlet of
expression. Things you may be unable to say, you can write. Personally,
whenever I overthink something, I write about it. And by the last paragraph, I
always end up with a solution.
Unlimited
combinations of flavours and textures comprise a chef's life. There's a
beautiful concept of balance in cooking-crispy and creamy go together and sweet
and spice is a zingy contrast.
For
dancers, it's their body movements. Animators put in hours of work to create
visuals that tickle us pink. Ice skaters have their zen moments when they swish
across the smooth surface.
And
the list goes on. But all of these careers boil down to one thing.
Communication. It's doing what we love that allows us to speak from our
heart.
It's
honest and meaningful because it comes from the deepest parts of you. It makes
you vulnerable because it exposes those hidden gems within. There's a
certain divine energy accompanied by it.
The examples I've given is a minuscule list tailored for my art loving personality. There are thousands of other options out there that compliment your taste.
How cool would it be to wake up each day, excited to work because your job is something you love? Dwell on that happy thought and make it happen.
The
possibilities are inspiring, because they give us a reason to really push
ourselves further and let those original ideas take flight. Our passions fuel
ambitions.
It's
so important to know what makes us genuinely happy. The reasons being
the sense of purpose it invokes and how fulfilling it feels. And once you find
it, the next best thing to do is incorporating it in your daily life. This
could be in the form of a career path or simply a hobby on the side to keep
your mood chipper. Being in High School, my personal opinion favours
the prior.
I think this was the first blog post I read on your blog, Cutecumber.
