Floral Desert

Heat of the desert evaporates
When the cacti are accompanied by a flowery fate
The breeze is pleasant
With Night Queen and Roses fragrant
The merry gold of Buttercups
Circle around the oasis in nubs
Camels make friendship with the spring bees
Going to a place like this is an opportunity I would seize



City of autumn

Nature replaces the cement forest
Leaves of oak and maple found on roads
Instead of smoky cars and a noisy fest

Overuse of technology is absent
For people live in tree houses
And enjoy a harmonious existence

Rosy and ginger 
Cozy coloured
Weather so mellow
Whoever lives in the City of Fall
Is a happy fellow

Elysian couldn't fall asleep and it wasn't his insomnia that kept him awake. It was too humid in his comforter. The air conditioning was broken. He was having a hard time just breathing properly. Strange Cliques have Unique Barriers Assigned (S.C.U.B.A)

A  peculiar place lies in a space unseen by mankind. Floating in between waves of sand is a dome of water. A reversed island. Within it exists a species called ‘Buzos’, evolved from humans. It had been their ancestors’ deep love for scuba diving that led them to adapt to the water over generations. They’d unleashed their inner merselves, surrendering to the calm of the water world. A discovery marks this deviation in homo sapiens. “I can’t breathe”, a Buzo forefather had choked on sticking his head out after a particularly soothing dive. Only ducking underwater relaxed his lungs. Equipment set aside, he’d rushed to his wife to inform her about this breathlessly. The bathtub became his bedroom. Their child was born with this fishy tendency as well. She only ate duckweed and never left her kiddie pool. Nightmare to Merry Flight

I really enjoy music from different cultures. I found this incredible play list of ancient Chinese music one night and it lulled me to sleep. My eyes opened suddenly. Wanting to turn the music off now that I was asleep, I tried to move. But I couldn’t. I was completely paralysed and could move solely my eyes. Naturally panic stricken, I wanted to scream but this strange state wouldn’t allow that either. After a bit of struggle however, I was back to normal.  Maybe it was the music, I explained to myself. Lovely harp sounds, authentic Chinese flute and a zen ambiance. It was beautifully eerie. For a few years this incident remained a mystery, just something I’d narrate when my friends and I were sharing bizarre experiences.  The second episode pushed me to look it up.
