Gratitude Land

This is what the power of gratitude is like in my head.

A beautiful valley exists. A lofty waterfall crashes down from one of the mountains. It falls into a lake of clear water which reflects the lavender sky. The sun rays hit the fog, creating golden shadows. The brisk air makes the Japanese blossoms snow on the ground.  The grassy floor is flecked with dandelions which meet the pink petals in their journey along with the wind.

You could dip your feet in the lake for some time. Then, you would walk around it to the waterfall, entranced by its iridescence. It is so foamy; you'd  think somebody was chucking bars of soap into the source of the fall. Anyone would feel smaller in its grand presence.

A narrow opening is situated behind it. A deep cave. On walking inside, a booming voice will say:

"The place outside this cave is of your own creation. Whenever you have felt grateful, each thought spent in appreciation has nurtured this place and helped it grow into the wonderland that it has become. Each time you give a heartfelt thank you, it plants a new seed in this land. And so, I am as certain as a centaur about his predictions, that you child, are the creator of this glory"

The sound will continue to pour out from the distorted rocks.

"This land is you're subconscious mind, the very good side of it, come to life. Gratitude is a very strong spell and your sincere utilisation of it has resulted in those thoughts implanting themselves to the domain of reality"

The place will reveal itself to you in your time of need. And it will always help you out with your problems. How, you ask?

"The answers all lie within, of course! This cave represents the deepest part of your mind. This very voice, what you think belongs to a separate entity is in fact a concealed part of you"

Whenever my intuition is feeling a little lacklustre, I turn to Mr. Cave for help. And you don't even need Doremon's Anywhere Door to go this place.

It's always accessible because it is within you. You simply have to relax your mind, feel grateful and ask for the best possible solution. And the universe will become your guide.
